I also think large squads of Crons are a double-edged sword with the low initiative and sweeping advances, but then again smaller squads can get wiped out by shooting without a chance to use reanimation.

Interestingly, I just found out my nephew has a shelf of old crons he doesn't want sitting around doing nothing.....Jimbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04950063737302695309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320541665600624608.post-51197623784490332732011-11-08T19:11:50.644+00:002011-11-08T19:11:50.644+00:00Couldn't agree more mate. He forces you to design your army around the premise of night fighting and it's hit and miss at best. Against combat armies it's actually probably going to make your life harder!

I think he mainly put the flayed ones in cos he'd got the models in his ebay buy and thought he'd try them out. Our general impression was they were crap.

Anyway, come back tomorrow and I'll have posted up some proper thoughts. From The Fanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01043549318855295914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320541665600624608.post-69600204905785485952011-11-08T17:21:18.800+00:002011-11-08T17:21:18.800+00:00Pretty certain this showcases how spending 225pts ...Pretty certain this showcases how spending 225pts on Imotekh is perhaps not as much of a no brainer as people seem to think.

Of course, this army also had 20 flayed ones which also take advantage of Imotekh... though I'm getting more convinced that a cryptek with a solar flare is more tactical. (one with one lord, two if you take a pair... so you can do first and last turns).Luis Nieveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16104268520391688183noreply@blogger.com
