Well we had to correct Jeremy Vetock...Thanks mate.

Well we had to correct Jeremy Vetock on the rules because he said they always got 5+ jink and could evade for a 4+ which sadly isn't the case. I suppose he's the fluff guy not the rules guy!

As far as I know they move 18-36". That's 18" minimum but anything upto 36". Only other restriction is it has to be a single 0-90deg turn at the START of their movement. This makes it very difficult for two fliers to actually get round the back of each other unless they have "Hover". Involves a lot of flying off the board!

Zooming fliers get fixed velocity rather than Immobilized I think. The rules are there with the flyer stuff. From The Fanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01043549318855295914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320541665600624608.post-87993596038782964182012-07-17T20:06:33.655+01:002012-07-17T20:06:33.655+01:00Good point, I'll add it when I get home tomorr...Good point, I'll add it when I get home tomorrow. From The Fanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01043549318855295914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320541665600624608.post-38213874902063244692012-07-17T18:43:29.401+01:002012-07-17T18:43:29.401+01:00That makes sense...it looks like the general rule ...That makes sense...it looks like the general rule is 'if you can't be shot first, you can't assault' fitting exactly with the 'opponent can't respond' comment.

But that doesn't square with the ninja piratical raider concept, does it? ninja is 'hidden', sort of, so to maintain that flavor, the DE must be able to mind-f the opponent.

And elsewhere (Faeit, I believe) there was a negative comment about armies becoming too similar. Of course, if the rules allow for that kind of complex play, less resilient players become disillusioned and sales are lost.

Ah, well. All for the Greater Pr, errr, Good, I suppose.

thanks for the reportJoe TwoCrowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13035957421599043760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320541665600624608.post-55394279506127471832012-07-17T17:16:06.550+01:002012-07-17T17:16:06.550+01:00Hi, Nice report!
